Player issue 2006/07 TFG prototype home shirt

Carlisle at home, May 2006. You don't need reminding of the significance of the game, the big final day survival act. Lovely stuff.

What's often forgotten is after the drama of the game, the players came back on the pitch to preview the new shirt we'd be wearing the following season. This is one of those very shirts.

You'll notice a few differences between this and the shirt we ended up wearing; different crest, no white frame around the sponsor, different back of shirt sponsor.

Ultra rare, these. I've only ever seen one other, and that's Liam Dickinson's one that is in the collection. A really nice little shirt from a time we were on the up under Jim.

Size XL, outstanding condition. Had been signed on the back but has faded a lot so can't really see them.
